Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller Date 16600 from 1997, in Superb Condition, Having Recently Undergone an Extensive and Costly Rolex Overhaul in 2019. 

Rolex's Sea-Dweller was built for the depths. Waterproof to over 4000ft (1.22km), its construction is sturdy and as solid as they come, and is highly resemblant to the Submariner. Perfected in the 1960s, the Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 saw a minimal change to its design compared with other Rolex references. In 2008, this changed with the larger 'Maxi' case, ceramic bezel, Rolex engraved rehaut and magnifying cyclops above the date.

This 1997 Rolex Sea-Dweller is in superb shape with only minor signs of wear since its last Rolex Service in 2019, so looks almost new and unworn still. Please feel free to ask for further images to reflect its condition!

The hands boast Rolex Superluminova which glows white in low light. The hour plots and hands are finished with white gold trim which easily catches the light, making the dial highly legible above or underwater. The helium escape valve allows for perfect internal pressure distribution as the watch surfaces from the depths, increasing the thickness of the watch to around 14.8mm, slightly prouder than a Rolex Submariner, but still a beautiful everyday wearer. Powered by a COSC Superlative Chronometer-certified Calibre 3135, the watch keeps exceptional time and looks great on the wrist. 

This watch is supplied with a Rolex service pouch, service card and documentation of the extensive service it has undergone by Rolex in May of 2019 which includes over £2700 worth of work in the shape of a full service and overhaul, a new bracelet and clasp, glass and crown and also dial and hands, and a new bezel insert! It's practically a new watch! A great buy and a beautiful watch on the wrist!
