Karas Single Vineyard wines are new to Karas Wines. Until now, the winery has been making mostly blends; here the purpose is to present the best of their single varietals from their estate vineyards in Armavir, western Armenia.

After early morning manual harvest and undergoing manual selection, the juice undergoes temperature-controlled maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks and subsequently is aged in Armenian and French oak barrels for 12 months.

• Color – Deep Garnet
• Nose – Dark cherry, dark fruit, plum, boysenberry, tobacco and leather.
• Palate – Cherry, which is common with Areni, hibiscus, which is not common, and cola, which is not common. It has soft tannins and good acidity. This is a highly extracted but balanced wine and has a medium to long finish.
• Food Pairing – Grilled or roasted meats with all the side accoutrements or simply by itself.
